• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve our altitude acclimation planning services
• Generate personalized acclimation recommendations
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Send service-related communications
• Respond to your questions and requests
• Monitor and analyze usage to improve the service
• Protect against fraudulent or unauthorized use

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure including DynamoDB and Cognito, with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — to process subscription payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• AWS — for infrastructure, authentication (Cognito), and database storage (DynamoDB).
• Amazon Associates — affiliate links may be tracked by Amazon when you click gear recommendations. No personal data is shared with Amazon.
• Google — reCAPTCHA is used on sign-up to prevent bot registrations. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication, session management, and security. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy tab for full details. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them will prevent you from signing in.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

AltitudeReady participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click gear recommendation links, we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. This relationship does not influence our recommendations.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at kaleb@cloudcity-technology.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents have additional rights under CCPA, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to erasure.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records).

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and revising the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
